Prior to founding the Westport Maven with his partners, Mr. McGlinchey was managing director for McCarter Government Solutions and senior advisor at McCarter & English, LLP, the second oldest law firm in the U.S. For a near decade, Brian worked with regional, multinational and international businesses and organizations, providing them with sound counsel.

During the 2020 presidential election, Brian was prominently involved in the Joe Biden for President campaign, serving as National Fundraising Co-Chair, Co-Chair of the home state Delaware for Joe, and Co-Chair of Irish Americans for Biden. He also acted as a political advisor to the campaign on battleground state strategy and provided insight on economic development, infrastructure, and labor policy. During the convention, Brian served as an authorized representative for mid-Atlantic delegate selection and on the Credentials Committee for the Democratic National Convention.
